About the estate

The Cantina Ladu estate is a young family-run winery located in Mamoiada, Sardinia, with a winemaking tradition spanning three generations. Covering a vineyard area of approximately two hectares, the estate cultivates granitic soils at an average altitude of 620 meters above sea level. The land is worked using traditional methods, and thanks to a favorable microclimate, treatments are limited to the use of copper and sulfur when necessary. Cultivation focuses primarily on the Cannonau grape variety alongside a few plants of Granatza. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, followed by traditional vinification processes utilizing spontaneous fermentations.
