About the estate
The Bodega la Presa estate in Sanzoles within the Castilla y León region is a small, traditional family winery whose origins trace back to the work of past generations. Viticulture and the cultivation of the 750 vines in the vineyard along the Valdelaluna path are carried out with great care and respect for nature. Vinification takes place in a historic cellar excavated by hand by ancestors. Following alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for fifteen months in previously used French and American oak barrels, followed by a few months of bottle aging. The winery's portfolio features wines from the Toro DO denomination.
