About the estate

The Bodega Eresma - La Soterraña winery was founded in 2006 in Olmedo, in the heart of Castile and León. The estate manages over 250 hectares of vineyards with calcium-rich and stony soils, sourcing grapes from both its own plots and local vine growers. For the vinification of the white wines within the Rueda DO and Castilla y León VT denominations, the winery relies on modern technology, French and American oak barrels, as well as concrete vats and fudres. The focus lies on the Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, which are harvested at night, alongside Godello.
