About the estate
The Bodega Diez-Caballero estate is located in Elciego within the Rioja Alavesa region and is managed by Victoria Cañas alongside the next generation. Family involvement in viticulture spans centuries, while the formal bottling of their own harvests began in 1979. Spanning 25 hectares of clay-limestone soils, the vineyards are cultivated with varieties such as Tempranillo. Vinification takes place using historical concrete vats and oak barrels to produce age-worthy wines under the Rioja DOCa denomination.
