The Bertha winery has been producing Cava since 1989 and has been located since 2014 in Subirats within the Penedès region, sheltered by the Montserrat mountains and the Garraf foothills. The brand name is inspired by a literary character from the readings of the father of current winemaker Josep Torres. The estate focuses on modern Cava production with a strong emphasis on the assemblage of base wines. The team combines experience with young talents who are trained in wine tourism.
