About the estate

The Bauer Franz estate is a traditional family winery in Göllersdorf in the Weinviertel region, engaging in viticulture for more than a hundred years. The ten hectares of vineyards are situated entirely on slopes and are cultivated according to the guidelines of controlled viticulture. Harvest is conducted late and single-varietal, followed by processing based on modern technical insights in contemporary stainless steel tanks. The portfolio includes white and red wines such as Weinviertel DAC, Grüner Veltliner, and Zweigelt, as well as brandies and liqueurs from estate-grown fruit.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
