About the estate

The Bakos Pincészet estate manages 3.5 hectares of vineyards in the Badacsony wine region on the southeastern slope of Mount Csobánc within the Balaton Uplands National Park. The heart of the winery is a vaulted cellar and press house built in 1822. The portfolio features the regional grape varieties Olaszrizling, Szürkebarát, Furmint, and Pinot Blanc. The wines are produced locally through manual harvesting and processing on the day of harvest. The winery focuses on maintaining the biological balance of the vineyards and crafting authentic, small-batch wines.
