About the estate

The Jakab Badacsony estate cultivates 14 hectares of vineyards on the volcanic slopes of the Badacsony wine region. The history of the winery began in 1996 with initial plantings, followed by the first wines under its own name in 2018 and the completion of the processing facility in Nemesgulács in 2022. The portfolio focuses on Pinot Noir alongside the grape varieties Kéknyelű, Vulcanus, and Syrah. Viticulture is organic, and in the cellar, the winery applies the principle of minimal intervention using oak barrels and breathable tanks.
