About the estate
The 2HA Szőlőbirtok és Pincészet estate is located on St. George Mountain within the Balaton Uplands National Park. The organic vineyards lie on a volcanic hill, with base soils consisting mainly of volcanic heritage and Pannonian marine deposits. Protected from northern winds, the south side of the mountain is dominated by sub-Mediterranean characteristics. Spanning a total vineyard area of 4.5 hectares, the estate cultivates grape varieties including Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese Grosso, Shiraz, and Merlot.
