About the estate

The history of the Azienda Agricola Casale Marchese dates back to 1301, when the estate was mentioned in a papal bull by Boniface VIII. During the 16th century, the property served as the residence of the composer Emilio de’ Cavalieri, from whom the estate derives its name. For around two centuries, the property has been owned by the Carletti family, who now manage the winery in the seventh generation. All processes from vinification to bottling take place directly on the estate, which also produces its own olive oil.
