The Mottura Sergio estate is located in Civitella d'Agliano in Lazio and was founded in 1933. The property spans 37 hectares of vineyards within a volcanic agricultural landscape near Lake Bolsena. The production focuses on traditional Orvieto DOC as well as a strong emphasis on the Grechetto variety. The estate has farmed organically since 1991 and implements sustainable agricultural practices. Winemaking takes place in a modern facility, while aging is carried out in historic tuff cellars.
