About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Carlo Tanganelli estate is located in Castiglion Fiorentino in Tuscany and spans seven hectares of vineyards. The family has been producing wine since the early last century, with Carlo Tanganelli shaping its philosophy and preserving the nearly extinct Trebbiano Toscano variety using vines over 110 years old. Today, his son Marco runs the winery with a strictly sustainable, artisanal approach avoiding synthetic chemicals in both the vineyard and cellar. The portfolio includes macerated Trebbiano as well as red wines dominated by Sangiovese and Merlot. The wines are crafted through long fermentations with indigenous yeasts, skin maceration, and the absence of fining or filtration with minimal use of sulfur.
