About the estate
The Ansaldi – Baglio Donna Franca estate was founded in 2000 by Giacomo Ansaldi in Marsala, Western Sicily. The founder manages the winery alongside his wife Paola, who is a qualified sommelier. Wine production is organic and relies exclusively on grapes harvested from the vineyards surrounding the property. The estate’s philosophy is rooted in the research and enhancement of the historical identity and biological biodiversity of Sicilian viticulture. In addition to exclusive organic wines, the agricultural enterprise also produces bread and pasta from ancient grains grown on its own land.
