About the estate

The ALTERRIS s.s.a estate is located in Diano d'Alba in Piedmont atop a south-facing hill. The winery was founded by the Martini family, whose passion and roots are closely tied to the Langhe region. The vineyards extend over calcareous sandstone soils at altitudes above 400 meters, featuring grape varieties such as Nebbiolo and Dolcetto. The portfolio includes various denominations like Barolo DOCG and Barbaresco DOCG. Vinification is carried out traditionally following manual canopy management and strict yield reduction in a modern underground cellar.
