About the estate
The Adegas Laudes winery located in Ourense in the Galicia region was founded in 2000. Following the long-term selection of clones of the Albariño, Godello, and Caiño Blanco grape varieties, founder Lázaro Moreno Sotelo acquired historic parcels such as Finca Raposeiras in the Avia Valley. Later, Raúl Álvarez Sotelo joined the project, and after twenty years, wine production began using grapes exclusively from these three sites. Cultivation takes place within the Ribeiro DO denomination following the principle of listening to the plants and adapting vinification to each specific vintage. Depending on the year, the aging process may involve techniques such as carbonic snow, wood contact, or finishing in stainless steel tanks.
