About the estate

The Adega Herdade das Aldeias de Juromenha winery is located in the heart of the Alentejo region near Elvas and was established in 1998. The initial vineyards were planted at Monte dos Outeiros with traditional Portuguese grape varieties including Trincadeira, Aragonês, Antão Vaz, Alicante, and Verdelho. Today, the estate spans a vineyard area of 70 hectares, cultivating predominantly autochthonous varieties alongside international grapes such as Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The product range features red, white, and rosé wines marketed under brands such as Aldeias de Juromenha, D.Januário, Forte da Graça, Herdade das Aldeias, and SAMO.
