About the estate
The Azienda agricola Orlando Abrigo has its roots in a long-standing family tradition of winemaking and was founded in 1949 in Treiso in Piedmont. Over the decades, the family expanded the estate's holdings to a total of 21 hectares of vineyards. In 1988, Giovanni Abrigo took over the management of the winery and modernized both the equipment and the production methods. The portfolio features various traditional appellations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, and Langhe DOC. A new, largely underground cellar was built in 2013, allowing for gentle gravity-fed vinification processes.
