Le domaine Weingut Matthias Hild est une petite exploitation familiale de quatrième génération située sur la Moselle sud à Wincheringen. Les vieilles vignes prospèrent sur un sol profond de calcaire coquillier, que l'on ne trouve que dans cette partie de la région. L'accent est mis sur l'Elbling, le plus ancien cépage d'Allemagne, complété par des cépages de Pinot et le Morio Muskat. Les raisins de ces vins élaborés artisanalement sont vendangés et triés à la main. En cave, la fermentation se déroule de manière traditionnelle en cuves inox.
