About the estate

The Yorkshire Heart Vineyard estate in Nun Monkton was established in 2000 with the planting of initial vines as a personal project and has grown into a respected producer in the North of England. Today, a team of family and friends nurtures over 29,000 vines across approximately 7.2 hectares, cultivating more than 20 different grape varieties including Solaris, Rondo, and Pinot Noir. Vineyard management is sustainable, relying on manual labour for year-round canopy care and the autumn harvest. The grapes are processed on-site in a dedicated winery to capture regional provenance and expression. Additionally, the operation includes an on-site brewery established in 2011 to craft a range of ales.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Solaris and Seyval Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
