Founded in 1936, the Winzer der Rheinhessischen Schweiz eG cooperative cultivates 250 hectares of vineyards across 13 municipalities around Wöllstein with 50 members. The estate is managed by Matthias Heßdörfer since 1994, with cellar operations directed by cellar masters Maximilian Horn and Niklas Weitzel. The portfolio features prominent white and red grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, yielding fruity white wines and full-bodied red wines. Winemaking practices emphasize gentle processing, yield reduction, and cold fermentation to preserve natural aromas.
