Wildbacher

About the estate

The Wildbacher winery is located on the Klapotetz wine road in South Styria and has been run by the Wildbacher family since 1996. On nine hectares of vineyards on the Eichberg, the estate cultivates typical grape varieties in steep locations. In wine production, the focus is on environmentally friendly practices through deliberate yield reduction in the vineyards. In the cellar, the estate processes the grapes with craftsmanship to produce characterful wines with pronounced fruitiness. The portfolio includes a typically Styrian assortment from the South Styria DAC denomination.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Blauer Wildbacher. The estate sells to retail.
