About the estate
The Pongratz estate cultivates around ten hectares of vineyards in Gamlitz in South Styria. The winery is situated in the Kranachberg, Hochberg, and Labitschberg sites, which are characterized by a diverse sequence of river and marine sediments. The portfolio under the designation of origin South Styria DAC includes regional wines, local wines, and single-vineyard wines. The wines undergo an extended maturation period in the cellar and feature varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc.
