About the estate

The Wild estate in Gengenbach looks back on a long family tradition that began in 1855 with the foundation of the distillery, while the young winery was established in 2015. Today, the business is managed by the family and cultivates steep vineyards in the Black Forest featuring weathered buntsandstein and granite soils. The grape variety portfolio and wine styles include characterful wines such as Riesling and Pinot Noir. The work in the small-parcel steep slopes is traditionally done by hand. The distribution of the products extends to the international market.
