About the estate

Founded in 2022, the WeinWerk Wienacht AG estate is run by the Junkert family of winemakers in Wienacht-Tobel in German-speaking Switzerland. Jens Junkert, a trained oenologist, manages the work in the vineyard and the cellar, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The team also includes Denise Junkert overseeing finance and administration, Rolf Junkert in sales, and Heinz Rohner, who brings many years of experience in viticulture. The estate emphasizes allowing the distinct character of each vintage to be experienced in the glass. The wines are registered under the AOC Appenzell denomination.
