About the estate

The traditional Weinhof Matthäus Hirschbüchler is located in Obersdorf in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria and looks back on a history dating back to 1880. Today, the family estate is run by Matthäus Hirschbüchler in the seventh generation. Across approximately eleven hectares of vineyards in Obersdorf and Pillichsdorf, grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Merlot are cultivated. The Pannonian climate, characterized by sunny and warm days alongside sufficient precipitation, shapes the soils and the growth of the vines. In harmony with nature, quality wines are produced and distributed directly at the estate as well as online.
