About the estate
The Wiesendanger winery is a family-run estate located in Ossingen in German-speaking Switzerland, tracing its origins back to a founding in 1961 by Hans Wiesendanger Sen. Today, the business is managed in the third generation by Reto Wiesendanger, who works alongside his parents Hans and Brigitte as well as staff. The cultivated vineyard area spans 8 hectares, where 8 different grape varieties are planted. From these plots, the estate vinifies 20 different wines itself, operating under the AOC Zürich denomination. Operations combine the transmission of knowledge and traditions over generations with ongoing innovations in the vineyard and cellar.
