About the estate

The Weingut Schuck Sonnenhof estate in Rhenish Hesse is managed by the third generation as a bottled wine producer, with a family winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century. Covering 25 hectares of vineyards around Schwabenheim, the family-run winery cultivates sites such as Klostergarten, Sonnenberg, Schlossberg, and the neighboring Elsheimer Bockstein. The portfolio consists of 65 percent white wines and 35 percent red wines, featuring grape varieties such as Riesling, various Pinot varieties, Müller-Thurgau, Portugieser, and Dornfelder. In the cellar, the team focuses on gentle processing, fermenting the must in stainless steel and fiberglass tanks. The estate also operates alongside agriculture, guest rooms, and event spaces.
