About the estate
The organic winery managed by the Schäfer family is located in Kleinbottwar in the Bottwartal valley within the Württemberg wine region. The first vintage was bottled in 1981. Classic Württemberg grape varieties as well as specialties such as Traminer and Samtrot are cultivated on deep Keuper soils. The working methods are characterized by centuries-old viticultural tradition and manual labor. The wines are distributed directly from the estate and through selected partners.
