About the estate

The Weingut Sauer estate practices organic viticulture in the Palatinate region as well as through the Bodegas Palmera project in Utiel Requena, Spain. Since 1987, the winery has operated according to the guidelines of the Bioland cultivation association and has incorporated elements of biodynamic farming since 2010. In Spain, the estate manages 20 hectares of vineyards in a mountainous area with lime- and stone-rich soils. The portfolio includes opulent red wines vinified in the cellar using a minimalist approach without selected yeasts and aged in French oak barrels.
