About the estate

The Wein- und Sektgut Klaus Schneider estate in Dirmstein in the Palatinate region has been operated in its current form since 1986 by Andrea and Klaus Schneider, while viticulture at the estate dates back to 1803. Today, Moritz Schneider manages 25 hectares of vineyards together with his parents. The sites Dirmstein Mandelpfad, Dirmstein Herrgottsacker, and Jesuitenhofgarten feature soils composed of clay, loess, limestone, and weathered variegated sandstone. The estate operates according to the Fair'n Green certification standards and distributes its wines through direct sales. The portfolio comprises 33 wines, including 18 white wines, 8 red wines, 4 sparkling wines, 2 rosé wines, and 1 sweet wine. The wines are categorized into estate wines with 10 positions, single-vineyard wines with 8 positions, village wines with 5 positions, liter wines with 5 positions, sparkling wines with 4 positions, and noble sweet with 1 position. Cultivated grape varieties include Riesling with 9 positions, Pinot Noir with 4 positions, Pinot Blanc with 3 positions, Sauvignon Blanc with 2 positions, Chardonnay with 2 positions, as well as Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Gold Muskateller, Dornfelder, and Pinot Meunier.
