About the estate

The Riffel winery is located in Bingen am Rhein-Büdesheim between the Rhine and Nahe rivers, where the soils are based on 400 million years of geological history with quartzite. Led by Carolin and Erik Riffel, the estate has farmed its vineyards according to biodynamic principles since 2012, incorporating cover crops, organic fertilization, and the promotion of biodiversity. Vineyard management relies on careful and selective hand harvesting. In the cellar, the estate focuses on maximum expression and long maturation periods for wines characterized by elegance and straightforwardness.
