About the estate

The Löwenthal winery was taken over in the summer of 2022 by a team that continues the winemaking tradition of the estate in Eschbach along the southern wine route with new ideas. The name of the estate derives from a small valley stretching from the Madenburg castle ruins through the Haardt mountains down to the vineyards. In the cellar, the winemaker approaches each vintage with precision and a deep connection to nature to create characterful wines with expression and personality. The portfolio offers a wide variety of taste experiences that authentically reflect the character of the grape varieties and the unique qualities of the soils.
