About the estate
The traditional family-run estate Weingut Justen-Kiebel is located in the wine village of Kinheim on the Middle Moselle. The winery is managed by Astrid and Frank Herges, who completed his training as a cellar master in 1990 and took over the parental estate in the year 2000. The wines thrive in selected steep slopes on mineral slate soils, shaped by a unique cultural landscape. All work in the vineyard and the cellar rests entirely in the hands of the family. The estate focuses on close-to-nature, sustainable management, moderate yields, and a high degree of manual labor.
