About the estate

The Weingut Jürg Wetzel estate looks back on a long family tradition in winemaking, with the foundation for the current winery laid in 1987. The vineyard area now covers nearly three hectares in Gebenstorf, Villigen and Birmenstorf, featuring diverse soils such as Jurassic limestone and loam. The estate relies on traditional craftsmanship, experience and the cooperation of the entire family, with management handed over to the next generation in 2025. Due to specific microclimates and soil conditions, the vineyard sites offer versatile opportunities for cultivating various grape varieties.
