Weingut Gottardi

About the estate

The family-run Weingut Gottardi estate is situated in the village of Mazzon in South Tyrol and is currently managed in the third generation. Since 2010, the winery has dedicated its entire nine-hectare vineyard area exclusively to the cultivation of Pinot Noir. The healthy grapes are harvested by hand and processed in the cellar using gravity flow. Each parcel is aged separately in barriques and large wooden barrels during the first year before the wine is bottled after approximately 20 months. The Alto Adige DOC wines then mature in the cellar for at least twelve months prior to distribution and export.

The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir. The estate sells to importers and distributors. Export markets include Austria, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Belgium.
