About the estate

Located in the Franconia wine region within the Main triangle, the Weingut Bistro Molitor is operated as a traditional family business in the third generation. The vines are cultivated across an area of five hectares in the Nordheimer Vögelein, Nordheimer Kreuzberg, and Dettelbacher Honigberg vineyards. The guiding principles of the winemaker and cellar master include consciously nature-aligned practices, permanently green cover crops in the rows, and the avoidance of artificial and mineral fertilizers. On soils composed of shell limestone, sandy loam, and clay marl, grape varieties such as Silvaner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Scheurebe, and Pinot Noir thrive. These produce mineral-rich Franconian wines as well as white, red, rosé, blended, and sparkling wines with a distinct character.
