About the estate
The traditional winery Weingut Stich Im Löwen is located in the Franconian wine village of Bürgstadt and is managed by Philipp, Gerhard, and Helga Stich. The estate's vineyards are situated in the Miltenberg basin on sun-drenched, light to medium-weight red sandstone weathered soils. Among the cultivated top sites are the Centgrafenberg and the Hundsrück with their pronounced slopes and weathered soils. These geological conditions provide ideal prerequisites for the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Burgundy varieties, as well as for the production of white wines. The portfolio is complemented by single-variety distilled spirits from own production.
