About the estate
The family-run Weingut Biewers is located in Fellerich on the Southern Wine Moselle, in the heart of one of Germany's oldest wine-growing regions. Formerly run as a mixed agricultural business, the estate was taken over in 2009 by Michael Biewers from his parents after completing his viticulture studies in Geisenheim. The idyllic vineyards currently cover 14 hectares of vine area. The portfolio includes characterful grape varieties such as Elbling, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Rivaner and Pinot Noir, alongside various sparkling wines. The wines are characterised by a clear, fresh and accessible style offering high drinking pleasure.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Elbling and Pinot Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
