About the estate

The Biedermannhof winery is situated in a quiet hillside location in Tscherms and looks back on a long history first documented in the 14th century. For over 200 years, the estate has been owned by the Innerhofer family, who cultivate fruit and produce their own wine. In the year 2000, senior winemaker Johann Innerhofer resumed viticulture and official commercialization after wine had previously been produced for private use for years. In 2014, his son Hannes Innerhofer, who learned the winemaking craft in South Tyrol, took over the management of the property. Today, six different wine varieties are produced from the estate's own vineyards and marketed under the Alto Adige DOC denomination.
