About the estate

The Weingut Baum-Barth estate was founded in 2020 by brothers Christoph and Thomas Baum-Barth in Ingelheim am Rhein-Großwinternheim in the north of Rheinhessen. The winery places a clear focus on Pinot Noir as its leading grape variety, cultivating vineyards on limestone soils with a commitment to sustainable production. All grapes are harvested 100% by hand and processed as gently as possible in the cellar using gravity. The portfolio ranges from estate wines to village, reserve, and single vineyard wines, which are shaped by spontaneous fermentation and maturation in wooden barrels. These wines exhibit a cool, elegant profile and significant aging potential.
