About the estate
The Bahles winery in Kaub looks back on a history dating back to 1876, with the wine house and initial vineyards acquired by the family in 1912. Today, the estate cultivates a vineyard area of approximately 3.2 hectares in steep and very steep locations such as Blüchertal, Burg Gutenfels, Pfalzgrafenstein, and Rauschelay. The grape variety spectrum includes Riesling, Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon blanc, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Dorsa, and Hibernal. Cultivation is carried out in an environmentally friendly and modern way to produce region-typical, down-to-earth wines with character. Furthermore, the estate is a member of the Mittelrhein Riesling Charta.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to horeca.
