About the estate
The Weinbau Kern estate has been engaged in organic viticulture according to ECOVIN guidelines as a sideline in Malterdingen, Baden, since 1990. In the beginning, the winery cultivated a vineyard area of 0.11 hectares. As a full-supplying grape producer, the harvested grapes were initially delivered via the Malterdingen-Heimbach winegrowers' cooperative to the Badischer Winzerkeller in Breisach. Since 2013, the delivery of the grapes has taken place via another route. The origin of the wines is shaped by the Baden denomination.
