About the estate

The young family winery Wein von Rothmund cultivates vineyards in Lower Franconia and is based in an old timber-framed four-sided farmstead in Eltmann on the Main. The estate manages its vineyards with a focus on traditional winemaking from ripe grapes to finished wine in its own cellar. The wines are sold directly from the estate in the region. Following a weather-related loss of yield due to late frost during the year, the harvest yields a small quantity of grapes of high quality.
