About the estate
The Vogt Weine estate is managed by Kathrin and Markus Vogt in Rünenberg in German-speaking Switzerland. They cultivate 1.3 hectares of vineyards in the frost-free Gelterkinden sites of Kirche and Allersegg, which feature the limestone soils of the middle Jura. During production, the winery consciously avoids cuvées and barrique aging to create natural and pure wines. In addition to viticulture, Markus Vogt operates a specialty distillery for the production of spirits. The products are sold directly through the farm's own flower shop in Rünenberg.
