About the estate
The Weinbau Simmendinger estate cultivates vineyards in Arlesheim, Aesch BL, Therwil, Dornach, Münchenstein and Riehen. The vineyards featuring calcareous, loamy and clayey soils are predominantly located in sunny south and southwest-facing sites. The portfolio comprises white wines, red wines, sparkling wines, dessert wine and brandy, which are marketed under the AOC Basel designation. Furthermore, the winery offers contract winemaking services. For vinification and storage, the estate features a modern cellar alongside a tasting room.
