About the estate
The Klus 177 AG estate located in Aesch was taken over in 2017 by Irene and Antoine Kaufmann when they acquired the historic Domaine Nussbaumer. In 2019, they renamed the winery Klus 177 and ushered in a new era by transitioning to organic and biodynamic cultivation. The team cultivates both traditional and new grape varieties, focusing on biodiversity and nature-friendly methods in the vineyard. In the cellar, processing relies exclusively on grapes from the estate's own vineyards without the use of additives. The estate's wines are represented in the directory under the AOC Basel denomination.
