About the estate
The small family estate Vinařství Vykoukal has been cultivating vineyards on the steep slopes of Stará hora in the municipalities of Hostěrádky-Rešov and Újezd u Brna within the Morava region since 1996. Farming organically across two hectares of agricultural land, the winery focuses on expressing the unique terroir of Austerlitz. The cultivated grape varieties include Veltlínské zelené, Neuburské, Chardonnay, and the red variety Cabernet Moravia. In the cellar, production avoids selected yeasts, additives, and heavy filtration, resulting in natural and authentic wines characterized by a distinct minerality.
