About the estate
The Czech micro-winery Vinařství Ondřej Brdečko is located in the municipality of Kobylí within the Velkopavlovická wine region in the Morava wine-growing area. The estate cultivates just under two hectares of vineyards in Kobylí and purchases a small portion of grapes from contract suppliers, with an annual production of around 15,000 bottles depending on the vintage. Vineyard management is carried out largely by hand and in a gentle manner, complemented by experiments with unconventional methods. Exclusive hand harvesting into small crates ensures that intact and strictly selected grapes reach the cellar. For vinification, the winery relies on classical methods such as long-term maceration and maturation on the fine lees for up to one year.
