About the estate

The Czech family winery Vinařství Ing. Spěvák František builds on a long-standing winemaking tradition and developed into its current form following the revolution. The vineyards are distributed across five different wine-growing municipalities in exceptional microclimate locations around Dubňany in the Morava region. Older vines are planted with classic grape varieties, whereas newer vineyards cultivate emerging or nearly extinct grape varieties. The year-round vineyard management is conducted in an environmentally friendly manner with a strong emphasis on minimizing or eliminating synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Through controlled fermentation, the estate produces fresh, reductive wines featuring a pleasant and distinct varietal fruit bouquet.
