About the estate
The family estate Viña Aguilera, S.L. was founded in 2007 in La Aguilera in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region and draws on a long winemaking tradition. The winery cultivates 14 hectares of estate vineyards located at altitudes between 860 and 890 meters on clay and limestone soils, with vines ranging from 15 to 120 years of age. Viticulture is conducted sustainably, complemented by manual harvest in small boxes. In the cellar, the winery employs controlled fermentation, minimal intervention, and maturation in French and American oak barrels. The production centers on the Tempranillo variety, from which the characteristic wine Torreval is crafted.
